I'm fat. At least by my standards I am. This body has birthed two boys and it has taken a toll. I was never into fitness, I used to be a dancer so exercise was for easy. Now that I'm in my 40's and long past the age of looking good while dancing to the score of Chicago, exercise is a chore.
So here it goes. I'm going on a diet. I've been on 'watch what you eat' diets, but I think I need something drastic, like accountability. You my beautiful people will be my accountants.

I want to lose 40 pounds by the time I have my book release party on October 15th.

I am fat so I will not be posting before pictures because, ewww.

Well not much response on my last post but that's okay. You all can see what the incentives are when my Kickstarter campaign starts up. Until then, I am getting closer. I changed the release date to October 15th.
It's a killer thriller so a coming out date right before Halloween seems appropriate. Also just to let you all know there will be parts of my series that will make you uncomfortable. I will not apologize, it's what's intended. I can honestly say I've been warning those whom I don't think can handle it, not to read my book.

I do hope it stirs up controversy. Some issues need to be addressed, which brings me to my next point. Without giving up too much information about the series I want to introduce you all to a cause I support and want to push along.

This group is called Shared Hope International and their mission is to Eradicate Sex Trafficking.
Please stop by their site and give them a few moments of your time.

Kickstarter Tips

So here's the deal. I am getting ready to launch a Kickstarter campaign. I've seen most of the videos and I've helped fund a few other projects. Some have been fully funded, some unfortunately, have not. But I want to know from all of you out there, what should I put on Kickstarter that would make you jump up and say "Yes! Here! Please take my money and run out into the world and do good things!"?

Mind you that my campaign is for funding my book, 'My Beautiful Suicide' and not well-digging in remote villages, but still. Besides the typical, thank you, or I'll put your name in the acknowledgements, what would make you want to fund a book project? T-Shirts? Key-chains? My firstborn?

Give me any and all opinions. I need all the help I can get!

A young man married a beautiful woman who had previously divorced 10 husbands.
On their wedding night, she told her new husband to ‘Please be gentle; I’m still a virgin’.

‘What?’ said the puzzled groom.
‘How can that be possible if you’ve been married ten times.?’
‘Well, husband#1 was a Sales Representative; he just kept telling me how great it was going to be.
Husband #2 was in Software Services; he was never really sure how it was supposed to function; but he said he’d look into it and get back with me..
Husband #3 was from Field Services; he said that everything checked out diagnostically but he just couldn’t get the system up.
Husband #4 was in Telemarketing; even though he knew he had the order, he didn’t know when he would be able to deliver.
Husband #5 was an Engineer, he understood the basic process but he wanted three years to research, implement, and design a new state of the-art method.
Husband #6 was from Administration; he thought he knew how but he wasn’t sure whether it was his job or not.
Husband #7 was in Marketing; although he had a product, he was never sure how to position it.
Husband #8 was a Psychiatrist; all he did was talk about it.
Husband # 9 was a Gynecologist; all he did was look at it. .
Husband #10 was a Stamp Collector; all he ever did was …
God I miss him.
‘But now that I’ve married you, I’m so excited’.
‘Wonderful’, said the husband, ‘but why?
To which she replied,
‘You’re with the ‘GOVERNMENT‘ . ..
This time I KNOW I’M gonna get SCREWED.
